Doch eine \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfige Hitzeeinwirkung kann zu schlechter Schnittqualit\u00e4t f\u00fchren. Beispielsweise kann beim Schneiden dicker Platten, die Hilfsgase erfordern, ein zu hoher oder zu niedriger Gasdruck eine \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfige W\u00e4rmeeinbringung verursachen, die Schlackenbildung beg\u00fcnstigt. \u00c4hnlich kann es beim Schneiden kleiner runder L\u00f6cher durch den begrenzten Raum f\u00fcr die W\u00e4rmeausbreitung zu einer konzentrierten W\u00e4rmeanreicherung kommen, was ebenfalls leicht zur Schlackenbildung f\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<p>Verschiedene Kunden haben unterschiedliche Anforderungen an die Qualit\u00e4t der Schnittoberfl\u00e4chen und den Verarbeitungsgrad. Ist jedoch der Hilfsgasdruck zu hoch, entstehen auf der Materialoberfl\u00e4che Wirbelstr\u00f6me, die die Entfernung des geschmolzenen Materials erschweren, wodurch der Schnitt breiter und die Schnittfl\u00e4che rauer wird. Sie beeinflusst direkt die Rauheit der Schnittfl\u00e4che sowie die Neigung und Breite des Schnitts.<\/p>\n<p>Liegt der Fokus zu weit vorne, wird mehr W\u00e4rme vom unteren Teil des Werkst\u00fccks aufgenommen. Bei konstanter Schneidgeschwindigkeit und konstantem Gasdruck k\u00f6nnen das geschmolzene Material und das Material in der N\u00e4he der Schnittfuge als Fl\u00fcssigkeit auf die Unterseite flie\u00dfen. Nach dem Abk\u00fchlen bildet das geschmolzene Material kugelf\u00f6rmige Schlacken an der Unterseite.
